Kevin J. Donaldson is a bestselling author, entrepreneur, speaker, and business coach. He is the founder and CEO of Real Wealth Solutions®, a mastermind group that teaches ordinary people how to start sustainable, profitable small businesses from home, giving them more control, stability, wealth, and happiness in their lives.

Kevin, who was born in 1977 in Brooklyn, New York, describes his upbringing as “humble,” with his struggles with school, relationships, finances, health, and spirituality exacerbated by Crown Heights, the “bad neighborhood” in which he grew up during the 1980s. Despite this, Kevin has led an inspiring life and embarked on an incredible journey to achieve success in every aspect of his life. He is now determined to teach others how to overcome similar adversities. 

Kevin has a unique perspective on life and death, as well as how he deals with sadness and loss. He describes the death of a loved one when he was young as a watershed moment in his life that changed his perspective on life.

After ten years of mourning, his practical side reminded him that he was not to blame and that he needed to keep moving forward. This is in contrast to the traditional method of obtaining loans from banks and other lending institutions. “Most business owners don’t realize that certain life insurance products have cash values they can borrow against,” Donaldson says. “My job is to talk to these owners, learn about their unique personal and business needs, and form a life insurance package they can use as a sort of ‘Personal Bank’ they can take loans out of in the future.” Donaldson hopes more business owners will catch on to this strategy. “It hits two birds with one stone – business owners can get personally insured and gain access to funds they’d otherwise never get in such short notice.”
