Such is the case for Camden, New Jersey-born Rahim Handy, who now runs Clear Motion Films, a video production company in Texas that is dedicated to telling stories of self-improvement and social change.

From a young age, Rahim always wanted to stand out and change the world but didn’t know how. That’s when he discovered his love for video production, a powerful tool for telling stories and reaching people.

After years in the music world and in the Army Reserve, he decided to launch his video production company and dedicate himself to telling stories that matter. Clear Motion Films is primarily dedicated to producing documentaries and commercials, with a focus on unique stories of people overcoming adversity every day.

For Rahim, what makes his video production company unique is its ability to tell stories that touch the heart. “It’s not just about showing what happens, it’s about showing how people change their environment, their lives, and the lives of others.” He comments.

Each story is different and unique, but they all have struggles and resilience in common. As an entrepreneur, Rahim has faced many challenges. One of the biggest challenges he has faced is identifying his target customer and defining his offering. But once he did that, Rahim was able to reach his audience and deliver the value his customers were looking for. For him, value is central to his business, as his customers are willing to pay for stories that really matter.

Rahim’s inspiration to get into video production came from his passion for storytelling and his love of technology. From VHS to HDV, he has always kept up with the latest trends in video production technology. What most inspired Rahim was his experience in the film department at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he had the opportunity to work with professors and mentors who guided him in the right direction.

“A positive and focused mindset can lead to great achievements, while a negative mindset can slow down progress. Passion and determination are essential to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.” Rahim advises, and adds, “”It is important to be motivated, have a clear vision, be willing to take risks, and have the ability to adapt and learn from mistakes. 

“Having the right mindset is essential to creating and running a successful business. It is also important to surround yourself with positive and motivating people who share the same vision and passion for the business. With the right mindset, you can overcome any obstacle and lead your company to success.

Currently, Rahim is finishing a documentary titled The Dream Chaser, which has been in production for five years. The documentary is based on the true story of a boy named Addaren Ross, who was murdered seven days after his 18th birthday in Louisiana.

With Clear Motion Films, Rahim’s mission is to give a voice to those who have none and to show the world the courage and determination of people who struggle every day to overcome adversity. As an entrepreneur, he has faced many challenges, but his passion and determination have led his company to success.
